For nearly 60 years, something in me remained unactivated, missing, tantalizingly and excruciatingly beyond my grasp. I could sense there was more, but I could not find the door.

My Waking Words Experience (#WWX) is shared as a catalog of individual transformation, but even more as a catalyst: visitors are encouraged NOT to imitate or venerate one man’s metamorphosis, but to ENCOUNTER that “something” here which may serve as kindling for the fire already waiting to IGNITE and EXPLODE inside THEM.

WWX does not exist to spotlight some uniquely brilliant wisdom one individual possesses. Quite the opposite! This exhibit exists because one spark, honestly preserved and faithfully shared, may help others reconnect with the unawakened FIRE that remains dormant within them, just as it remained dormant within Rob for decades. Our desire is to help others rediscover their UNIQUE spark sooner. The ACORN of wisdom preserved here is small compared to the countless, yet-to-be-awakened TREES waiting to release their unharnessed potential. That is the point. One man’s awakening, humbly and diligently presented, may offer kindling. Yet the greater beauty comes when others, reached in some way, begin manifesting their own rekindled fire — with a brilliance that dwarfs the “EN-LIGHTNING-MENT” of the one paying it forward. That is to be celebrated. That is to be cultivated. That is why this “exhibit” exists.
